Hello everyone!
Well what a year this has been! We welcomed our baby girl in to the world at the beginning of the year, have had a wonderful season seeing familiar faces, new faces and getting to meet some amazing new friends and now we are about to close our gates for 2018 – until March 1st 2019 next year!
I managed a few moments today to photograph the Japanese Garden in all its spectacular, colourful glory, and it didn’t disappoint! Every Autumn I get excited to see the colour change and this year it has kept us waiting right until the end of October. Now with just 3 days left (including today) to visit, there are many colours bursting around the garden. The Japanese Maples are just superb! The maple canopy is glowing today as the sun bursts through the leaves and colours are so vivid they look ‘photoshopped’!
Stuart and I (Natalie) would like to thank every single one of you who has come to visit us this season and who have supported us through this exciting and challenging year. We have enjoyed the ride and even with a lot less sleep than we have had in the past (now that we are parents!) we have loved seeing the garden develop this year and we have loved meeting you all and sharing this beautiful place.
Thank you all again so much for all your support and a special thank you to my mum and dad (Robert and Stella) who have helped us so much throughout this year.
If you are hoping to see the garden before we close for 2018, please come to see us by October 31st (Wednesday this week) as this is our last day open until 1st March next year!
