Spring is here

Spring is finally here and the Japanese Garden is full of budding plants just waiting to open up. Some are already blooming! The azaleas are now looking superb with their beautiful, fragrant flowers opening up. The Japanese Acers are beginning to uncurl their leaves and some of the amazing colours are already being revealed. It is a time of excitement and anticipation as the plants get ready to flourish in to leaf.

The Koi are swimming faster now as the weather is warming up and they are frequently coming to the surface to greet visitors.
