OPENING TOMORROW FOR 2025

Tomorrow morning we open the gates for 2025 at 10am – and the weather forecast is looking bright and beautiful.

After the long winter we are finally seeing some sunshine and Spring is in the air once again.

The winter has been a busy time for us (again) as we closed to the public we got straight to work on the Koi pond filter system and we have completely overhauled the old filtration and better closed the system. Hopefully better oxygenating the water for our beautiful fish.

The last few weeks we have been clearing the leaves leftover from autumn/winter and giving the ground our attention.

It is always wonderful to see the garden at this time of year as it looks most exposed and the light is so golden all day.

The garden has been waking up in the last few weeks with Camellias and the early flowering azaleas beginning to bloom. We’ve also got the stunning little purple crocuses popping up which always remind me of fairy gardens and buds are swelling everywhere you look.

The deciduous trees still bare at present and therefore the architectural shapes of the branches and layering of the viewpoints can be seen which is always interesting to see at this time.

We cannot wait to welcome back so many of our wonderful visitors this year to share the garden with you.

We have price fixed our garden entry so its the same as 2024 and same with our Season Pass price too. We really hope to see you all soon!
