Another week has passed and the lockdown continues. Its definitely strange visiting the garden and having no visitors. The garden is looking wonderful with so many flowers now blooming their hearts out and the colours are just outstanding! My eyes are darting around because of the many pops of bright pink, purple, red, orange, and even white. The Spring radiance is out in full force now and I can’t do it justice with my camera – although I try!

This week we have had non stop sunshine and lovely warm temperatures which has encouraged everything to blossom and open. The Japanese maples, azaleas, cherry trees and the camellias are displaying their vibrant, colourful spring pallet.

My walk through the garden this morning was so peaceful and all I could hear was the trickling sound of water and birdsong throughout the garden; it was exactly what I needed to clear my mind and I left feeling so much more relaxed. I so wish we could be open and have all you wonderful people here to share that feeling of calm; sadly the lockdown is continuing and so we will remain closed until the social distancing has worked its magic and hopefully we can all remain safe and well.

I will keep photographing and sharing with you all; please stay safe everyone
